A l&#8217;Estat espanyol, es mengen\u00a06,5 libres per habitat i any, una de les xifres m\u00e9s elevades de tot el m\u00f3n. Tot i que cada vegada \u00e9s m\u00e9s habitual menjar-los fora dels mesos de calor, encara hi ha un alt percentatge de consum que se situa durant els mesos estiuencs.<\/p>\n<p>Ara b\u00e9, \u00e9s saludable menjar gelats? La professora de Nutrici\u00f3 de la Universitat d&#8217;Alcal\u00e0 d&#8217;Henares, Victorina Aguilar respon a la pregunta amb un s\u00ed carregat de matisos.<\/p>\n<p>A continuaci\u00f3 sabreu perqu\u00e8 \u00e9s bo menjar aquest aliment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>El gelat amb base l\u00e0ctia no \u00e9s una llaminadura. \u00c9s un aliment que compleix les dues funcions dels bons i rics aliments: t\u00e9 un notable valor nutricional i proporciona plaer, per\u00f2, i sempre hi ha un per\u00f2, &#8220;hem de menjar-los de forma moderada i dins d&#8217;una dieta saludable&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Pot ser unes postres o substitutiu d&#8217;un berenar complementat, per exemple, amb fruita; per\u00f2 \u00e9s preferible no pellucar un gelat entre hores o mentre veiem la tele a la nit.<\/li>\n<li>Una raci\u00f3 &#8216;normal&#8217; de gelat no ha de superar els 100 grams i un consum moderat no pot sobrepassar una raci\u00f3 per setmana.<\/li>\n<li>Per qu\u00e8 molts considerem que tots els gelats s\u00f3n llaminadures? &#8220;\u00c9s que hi ha gelats que ho s\u00f3n. Tots els de gel, que a m\u00e9s de sucre nom\u00e9s contenen aromatitzants i colorants. Posseeixen calories buides, per\u00f2 el valor nutricional \u00e9s nul&#8221;.<\/li>\n<li>Els gelats amb base l\u00e0ctia (llet sencera, descremada) proporcionen prote\u00efnes d&#8217;alt valor biol\u00f2gic. Aporten greixos saturats, s\u00ed, i sucres afegits, tamb\u00e9, per\u00f2 aquests \u00faltims s\u00f3n de lenta absorci\u00f3 per la gran quantitat de greix que tenen i, per tant, no s\u00f3n tan perjudicials.<\/li>\n<li>Els gelats fabricats amb llet tamb\u00e9 aporten calci biodisponible, f\u00e0cil d&#8217;assimilar, i lactosa, un sucre que afavoreix l&#8217;absorci\u00f3 del calci i vitamines del grup B.<\/li>\n<li>No hem de menysprear tampoc els gelats que amb cobertures de xocolata ja que, encara que s\u00f3n m\u00e9s energ\u00e8tics, disposen tamb\u00e9 d&#8217;altres avantatges, com els \u00e0cids este\u00e0ric i oleic, que contribueixen que no augmentin els nivells de colesterol. Els que tenen m\u00e9s cobertura de fruits secs proporcionen omega 3, fibra i altres nutrients positius. Alerta, aix\u00f2 s\u00ed, amb la ingesta de gelats elaborats amb olis de palma i similars.<\/li>\n<li>Les comunitats aut\u00f2nomes on hi ha m\u00e9s visitants estrangers s\u00f3n en les quals es consumeix m\u00e9s gelat.<\/li>\n<li>Espanya \u00e9s un gran productor i un gran consumidor de gelats, el 3.5% del total de la producci\u00f3 mundial de gelat es consumeix a l&#8217;Estat espanyol. Els pa\u00efsos n\u00f2rdics i la Xina li guanyen en consum.<\/li>\n<li>De cara a l&#8217;estiu, si sou a la platja i heu de decidir entre prendre un gelat o una beguda alcoh\u00f2lica refrescant (mojitos i similars), triau un altre tipus de beguda com sucs naturals o substitu\u00efu-la per un gelat.
