Aix\u00ed ho demostra un grup d\u2019investigadors de l\u2019Institut de recerca de l\u2019Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau \u2013 IIB Sant Pau de Barcelona i del CIBER de Diabetis i Malalties Metab\u00f2liques Associades (CIBERDEM). Aquests cient\u00edfics ha estudiat el paper d\u2019una forma de la vitamina B3 per a prevenir l\u2019increment de pes corporal en ratolins.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed, han descobert que la nicotinamida (vitamina B3) aconsegueix que els ratolins no engreixin, tot i alimentar-se amb una dieta rica en greixos saturats. El treball s\u2019ha publicat a la revista\u00a0<em>Molecular Nutrition and Food Research\u00a0<\/em>del mes de juny de 2021 i ha estat dirigit per Josep Julve, del grup Bases Metab\u00f2liques del Risc Cardiovascular de l\u2019IIB Sant Pau i CIBERDEM, dirigit per Francisco Blanco Vaca.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Possibles solucions nutricionals<br \/>\n<\/strong>Segons han detectat en aquest estudi, el mecanisme d\u2019acci\u00f3 de la nicotinamida es basa en un augment de la despesa energ\u00e8tica en els ratolins tractats, no en una disminuci\u00f3 de la ingesta, per la qual cosa aquest estudi podria oferir noves oportunitats per a solucions nutricionals que funcionin per el manteniment de la salut a llarg termini.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3 parteix de la idea que l&#8217;obesitat \u00e9s una malaltia de teixit adip\u00f3s i la nicotinamida actua preferentment en aquest teixit com a crema greixos i hi indueix la formaci\u00f3 de teixit adip\u00f3s marr\u00f3.
