Aix\u00ed ho considera\u00a0l\u2019Associaci\u00f3 Espanyola de Municipis de l\u2019Olivera (AEMO) que ha atorgat a una olivera mil\u00b7len\u00e0ria de la finca de\u00a0<strong>Can Det<\/strong>, a Fornalutx, aquesta distinci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Segons la resoluci\u00f3 del jurat,<strong>\u00a0l\u2019olivera de Can Det \u00e9s de la varietat aut\u00f2ctona Empeltre i probablement t\u00e9 m\u00e9s de 1.100 anys<\/strong>. Destaca per la seva soca espectacular, el seu tronc, que \u00e9s molt volumin\u00f3s, arribant a fer m\u00e9s de 6,5 metres de per\u00edmetre, i les seves cavitats.\u00a0<strong>Segurament, va ser sembrada pels musulmans devers el segle IX<\/strong>.
