Es troba a\u00a0<strong>sa Caleta<\/strong>, al municipi de\u00a0<strong>Ciutadella<\/strong>. \u00c9s un exemple de la cuina menorquina, senzilla, de temporada i de proximitat.<\/p>\n<p>El propietari \u00e9s\u00a0<strong>Jaume Pons<\/strong>, que amb la seva esposa\u00a0<strong>Fany\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>i els seus dos fills\u00a0<strong>Toni\u00a0<\/strong>i\u00a0<strong>Fany<\/strong>, gestionen una fonda per passar-hi gust de menjar.<\/p>\n<p>Hi trobareu plats com la\u00a0<strong>llengua amb t\u00e0peres<\/strong>\u00a0(de vedella i tallada molt finament),\u00a0<strong>calamars amb un arrebossat que semblen un bunyol<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>croquetes casolanes\u00a0<\/strong>(com ara les de bullit),\u00a0<strong>arrossos secs<\/strong>\u00a0i\u00a0<strong>arr\u00f2s brut<\/strong>, entre altres propostes de temporada, com el calamar farcit de moniato.\u00a0 A l&#8217;\u00e8poca de les faves tendres i la xulla, les faves ofegades s\u00f3n una de les receptes de temporada que fan les del\u00edcies dels comensals. De postres, hi ha\u00a0<strong>tortada\u00a0<\/strong>d&#8217;ametla, past\u00eds de formatge i altres dol\u00e7os casolans.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Horari<br \/>\n<\/strong>De Pasqua a setembre, tenen obert de dimarts vespre a diumenge migdia. Despr\u00e9s, nom\u00e9s tenen obert els caps de setmana a migdia. El mes de febrer tenen tancat per vacances.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Una mica d&#8217;hist\u00f2ria<br \/>\n<\/strong>El restaurant Es Garbell va obrir les portes el mes de juliol de 2017 i des de llavors no ha fet m\u00e9s que sumar parroquians fidels i satisfets. Abans d&#8217;inaugurar-lo, Jaume Pons era empresari del sector sabater. Feia sabates bones, de vestir, de tal\u00f3, un negoci familiar dels seus avantpassats que iniciaren a 1868.
