Aix\u00ed ho confirmen els resultats de l&#8217;estudi, el qual adverteixen que \u00a0fer un esmorzar poc energ\u00e8tic (menys del 5% de les calories di\u00e0ries recomanades; \u00e9s a dir, l&#8217;equivalent a menys de 100 calories\/esmorzar per a una dieta de 2.000 calories per dia), no \u00e9s bo per a la salut.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;estudi s&#8217;ha fet a m\u00e9s de 4.000 individus d&#8217;edat interm\u00e8dia, que s\u00f3n controlats a llarg termini gr\u00e0cies a l&#8217;\u00fas de les t\u00e8cniques d&#8217;imatge m\u00e9s innovadores i la finalitat principal \u00e9s caracteritzar la prevalen\u00e7a i la taxa de progressi\u00f3 de les lesions ateroscler\u00f2tiques latents (anomenades &#8217;subcl\u00edniques&#8216; perqu\u00e8 no han donat cap s\u00edmptoma) i estudiar-ne l&#8217;associaci\u00f3 amb factors moleculars i ambientals, incloent-hi els h\u00e0bits alimentaris, l&#8217;activitat f\u00edsica, els bioritmes, les caracter\u00edstiques psicosocials i l&#8217;exposici\u00f3 a contaminants ambientals. A edats primerenques, les plaques ateroscler\u00f2tiques (acumulaci\u00f3 de greixos a les parets de les art\u00e8ries dins el proc\u00e9s anomenat aterosclerosi) ja comencen a desenvolupar-se, encara que no hagi s\u00edmptomes (aterosclerosi subcl\u00ednica).<\/p>\n<p>Se sap que l&#8217;esmorzar t\u00e9 un impacte significatiu en la salut cardiovascular.
