Impulsada per l\u2019Ajuntament de Ma\u00f3, amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de Sa Cooperativa del Camp i el Consell Regulador de la Denominaci\u00f3 d\u2019Origen, aquesta cita t\u00e9 com a eix central el formatge amb DOP Mah\u00f3n-Menorca, un dels grans emblemes gastron\u00f2mics de l\u2019illa. Alhora, la fira obrir\u00e0 les seves portes a altres elaboracions locals d\u2019ovella i cabra i a productors convidats de la Ruta Europea del Formatge, convertint Ma\u00f3 en punt de trobada del millor de la cultura formatgera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>M\u00e9s enll\u00e0 de l\u2019experi\u00e8ncia gastron\u00f2mica, aquest esdeveniment vol posar en valor el producte local i el sector primari de Menorca, a la vegada que enforteix el comer\u00e7 i la restauraci\u00f3, amplia l\u2019oferta cultural de la ciutat i contribueix a allargar la temporada tur\u00edstica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El batle de Ma\u00f3,&nbsp;<strong>H\u00e9ctor Pons<\/strong>, ha destacat que \u201cla Fira del Formatge s\u2019est\u00e0 convertint en un referent\u201d amb el doble objectiu de donar a con\u00e8ixer aquest producte emblem\u00e0tic que porta el nom de Ma\u00f3 arreu, i en una \u00e8poca de l\u2019any \u2013octubre\u2013 en la qual permet dinamitzar l\u2019activitat econ\u00f2mica del municipi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per la seva banda, la tinenta d\u2019alcaldia de Promoci\u00f3 econ\u00f2mica,&nbsp;<strong>Susana Salom<\/strong>, posa en valor que aquest esdeveniment \u201csegueixi creixent en n\u00famero d\u2019estands, sense perdre la seva ess\u00e8ncia\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 el president de la Denominaci\u00f3 d\u2019Origen Mah\u00f3n-Menorca,&nbsp;<strong>Bosco Triay<\/strong>, posa de relleu que aquest sigui un esdeveniment que s\u2019allargui en el temps com ho fan fires d\u2019altres indrets amb productes tant emblem\u00e0tics com el Cabrales o el Casar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per \u00faltim,&nbsp;<strong>Ant\u00f2nia Bosch<\/strong>, gerenta de la Cooperativa del Camp, explica que en aquesta edici\u00f3 la fira \u201creafirma la seva consolidaci\u00f3 com espai de trobada i d\u2019orgull d\u2019aquest producte\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Per facilitar la participaci\u00f3 de tots els visitants, l\u2019organitzaci\u00f3 ha editat programes informatius en quatre idiomes \u2014catal\u00e0, castell\u00e0, angl\u00e8s i franc\u00e8s\u2014, amb l\u2019objectiu d\u2019arribar tamb\u00e9 al p\u00fablic internacional que visita l\u2019illa durant aquestes dates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El programa d\u2019enguany inclou mostres de cuina, m\u00fasica en directe, activitats infantils, tallers i espectacles que consoliden la Fira com una de les propostes m\u00e9s atractives del calendari menorqu\u00ed. A les activitats m\u00e9s tradicionals s\u2019hi sumen novetats com el FormatJazz i la participaci\u00f3 de nous experts i creadors, fent que amb aquesta edici\u00f3 es doni un pas endavant en la projecci\u00f3 de Ma\u00f3 com a referent gastron\u00f2mic i cultural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Un programa per a tots els p\u00fablics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La quarta edici\u00f3 aposta per un programa ampli i diversificat, que combina la divulgaci\u00f3 gastron\u00f2mica amb activitats culturals, l\u00fadiques i familiars:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gran inauguraci\u00f3 amb FormatJazz<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Divendres 17 d\u2019octubre, a les 18.30 h, s\u2019estrenar\u00e0 per primera vegada a Menorca el FormatJazz, una proposta que marida m\u00fasica i gastronomia. El concert, a c\u00e0rrec del grup Ja\u00e7 de Folk, liderat per Xavier Batll\u00e9s (fundador de l\u2019Orquestra Mirasol), s\u2019acompanyar\u00e0 d\u2019un tast comentat de sis formatges internacionals i locals, entre ells el Mah\u00f3n-Menorca DOP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mostres de cuina en directe<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dissabte 18,\u00a0 a les 12 h: Joan Taltavull, jove xef menorqu\u00ed de 18 anys guardonat als European Young Chef Awards, presentar\u00e0 \u201cFormatge en textures\u201d, una proposta innovadora que harmonitza el formatge amb productes del mar.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissabte 18, a les 18 h: Pep Pelfort recupera el Moretum, una recepta mediterr\u00e0nia d\u2019origen rom\u00e0 a base de formatge i herbes, per reivindicar el llegat hist\u00f2ric del nostre producte estrella.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Diumenge 19, a les 12.30 h: Rosa Rotger oferir\u00e0 un taller basat en una recepta del segle XVIII extreta del llibre de Fra Roger, recreant el gust aut\u00e8ntic d\u2019un antic past\u00eds de formatge. L\u2019activitat es complementar\u00e0 amb gelat de llet de vaca menorquina i vermut de Binitord.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tallers i activitats participatives<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Divendres 17, a les 18 h: \u201cLes ratetes entremaliades\u201d, una parella d\u2019actors caracteritzats que animaran els m\u00e9s petits que visitin a la fira.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissabte i diumenge, a les 10 h: Taller de fer fogasses amb la instal\u00b7laci\u00f3 d\u2019una formatgeria a la mateixa pla\u00e7a per mostrar en viu el proc\u00e9s d\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 artesanal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Dissabte 18, a les 12 h: \u201cFormatgeria de contes\u201d, un espectacle infantil de contacontes i il\u00b7lustraci\u00f3 a c\u00e0rrec de Sant Vicent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cultura i tradici\u00f3 menorquina<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Els gegants de Ma\u00f3 i Llucma\u00e7anes, acompanyats enguany pel Cavall de Ma\u00f3, seran protagonistes de les activitats de carrer el dissabte, a partir de les 10.30 h. La m\u00fasica tindr\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 un paper rellevant amb concerts de grups locals com Dues Llunes i The Pink Tsunami. La cloenda, diumenge, comptar\u00e0 amb l\u2019actuaci\u00f3 itinerant de Sa Xaranga, que posar\u00e0 el punt final a la festa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Espais gastron\u00f2mics i mostres ramaderes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fira comptar\u00e0 tamb\u00e9 amb el Format-Tast, un espai de p\u00edcnic amb taules on els visitants podran aturar-se a degustar una selecci\u00f3 de productes locals \u2014pa, mel, cervesa artesana, vins i caf\u00e8s especialitzats, pastes t\u00edpiques, hamburgueses, pastissos, safr\u00e0\u2014 que complementaran l\u2019oferta dels formatges de Menorca i dels estands convidats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Paral\u00b7lelament, la mostra ramadera tornar\u00e0 a tenir un paper destacat amb la pres\u00e8ncia de vaca frisona i vaca menorquina, a la qual enguany s\u2019hi afegir\u00e0, per primera vegada, la participaci\u00f3 d\u2019ovelles de ra\u00e7a menorquina.
