Concretament no es volien perdre la inauguraci\u00f3 del nou local del Fornet de la Soca, que s&#8217;ha mudat a l&#8217;antic Forn des Teatre, al costat del Teatre Principal de Palma.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;acte d&#8217;obertura va ser molt cerimoni\u00f3s, gaireb\u00e9 lit\u00fargic, en silenci i nom\u00e9s il\u00b7luminats per la t\u00e8nue llum de les espelmes de l&#8217;obrador. Tomeu Arbona cant\u00e0 una tonada del camp, d&#8217;on beu tota la seva font de saviesa i coneixement, mentre es pastava una ensa\u00efmada. Aquest estil sobri, que ennalteix el producte i que el valora \u00e9s una mostra de la gran feina d&#8217;arqueologia gastron\u00f2mica que aquest forner ha duit a terme des del primer dia que va obrir el Fornet de la Soca, quan la crisi econ\u00f2mica pegava fort a treballadors i fam\u00edlies.<\/p>\n<p>Aix\u00ed mateix, Arbona ha agra\u00eft la pres\u00e8ncia de tothom que l&#8217;ha acompanyat tant a la nova inauguraci\u00f3 com des del primer moment en que va crear el Fornet.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hist\u00f2ria Fornet de la Soca<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Tomeu Arbona i Maria Jos\u00e9 Orero varen obrir aquest projecte personal l&#8217;any 2011 al carrer de Sant Jaume. Com que l&#8217;obrador era molt petit, agafaren l&#8217;antic Forn de la Llotgeta, per\u00f2 davant la possibilitat de tenir botiga i obrador al mateix espai en un lloc tan emblem\u00e0tic i c\u00e8ntric com \u00e9s l&#8217;antic Forn des Teatre, han pogut traslladar-se en aquest emblem\u00e0tic local, el qual destaca per una bell\u00edssima fa\u00e7ana modernista.<\/p>\n<p>El nom del forn est\u00e0 inspirat en un conte de Jill Barklem, de la col\u00b7lecci\u00f3 Clos dels Esbarzers, que explica la his\u00f2ria d&#8217;uns ratolins que tenen un forn dins la soca d&#8217;un arbre. Els seus productes del Fornet de la Soca, des del pa fins a la pastisseria dol\u00e7a i salada, est\u00e0 elaborada amb ingredients naturals, de gran qualitat, amb llevats biol\u00f2gics i farines aut\u00f2ctones.
