La cita va tenir lloc a l&#8217;Hotel Gran Meli\u00e0 Vict\u00f2ria de Palma en un acte organitzat per Codorniu Ravent\u00f3s.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;acte, va tenir lloc dia 29 de juny, i va comptar amb l&#8217;assist\u00e8ncia de l&#8217;en\u00f2leg de Pommery, Thierry Gasc\u00f3, qui hores abans va impartir un tast comentat per a professionals sobre els xampanys de la firma. Gasc\u00f3 va explicar que els xampanys Pommery es basen en tres pilars: la vivacitat, la frescor i la finor, i que tots \u00a0estan fetes amb tres varietats diferents de ra\u00efm, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier i Chardonnay, que varien en cada un dels seus xampanys.<\/p>\n<p>Es varen tastar els xampanys seg\u00fcents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Champagne Pommery Brut Royal<\/strong>: T\u00e9 tres anys m\u00ednim de fermentaci\u00f3 i 10 grams de sucre per litre. Notes de poma, fresc, de bimbolla alegre.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Champagne Pommery Brut Ros\u00e9<\/strong>: Color t\u00e8nue, ataronjat. La bimbolla explota a la boca. El seu color es deu a una segona fermentaci\u00f3 amb vi negre.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Champagne Grand Cru Mill\u00e9sime 2005<\/strong>: Nom\u00e9s s&#8217;elabora quan el celler sap que podr\u00e0 fer un xampany especial. Se&#8217;n fan unes 300.000 botelles. T\u00e9 8 grams de sucre per litre.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Champagne Pommery Cuv\u00e9e Loiuse 2002<\/strong>: Ret homenatge a la filla de Madamme Pommery, nascuda un any abans de la mort de son pare. T\u00e9 5 gran de sucre per litre. \u00c9s un xampany amb caracter.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Champagne Pommery Les Clos Pompadour 2003 Magnum<\/strong>: Se&#8217;n fan nom\u00e9s 3.000 botelles, de les quals 2.000 es queden a Fran\u00e7a. T\u00e9 8 grams de sucre per litre i la proporci\u00f3 de ra\u00efm \u00e9s la seg\u00fcent: 75% de Chardonnay, 20% de Pinot Meunier i 5% de Pinot Noir.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Una mica d&#8217;hist\u00f2ria de Pommery<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pommery es troba a la localitat de Reims, a la regi\u00f3 de la Xampanya francesa, bressol del xampany. Madamme Pommery, una dona amb empenta, forta i que feia poc que havia quedat v\u00eddua, va ser la creadora d&#8217;aquest celler l&#8217;any 1858, tot i que la casa va ser fundada pel seu marit l&#8217;any 1836, amb el comer\u00e7 de vi.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 va ser ella qui va promoure la<strong>\u00a0invenci\u00f3 del primer brut\u00a0<\/strong>de la Xampanya (i del m\u00f3n), quan va demanar a l&#8217;aleshores responsable del celler Pommery, Olivier Damas, que cre\u00e0s &#8220;un vi tan sec com fos possible per\u00f2 sense rigidesa&#8230; que fos mel\u00f3s, vellutat i ben fus, i per damunt de tot que en cuid\u00e0s la finor&#8221;.
