El municipi de Santa Maria del Cam\u00ed \u00e9s un dels ambaixadors d&#8217;aquesta beguda t\u00edpica del Nadal.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>PODEU TASTAR LA LLET D&#8217;AMETLA DISSABTE 17 I DIUMENGE 18, A LA PARADA DE L&#8217;ASSOCIACI\u00d3 DE PERSONES MAJORS DEL MERCAT NADALENC<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Amb motiu del Mercat Nadalenc a Santa Maria, hi trobareu una paradeta especial de llet d\u2019ametlla feta per l\u2019Associaci\u00f3 de Persones Majors amb la col\u00b7laboraci\u00f3 de l\u2019Ajuntament de Santa Maria del Cam\u00ed. Romandr\u00e0 oberta dissabte 17 de desembre, de 16.30 a 21 h, i diumenge, de 9 a 14 h, a la Pla\u00e7a de la Vila.<\/p>\n<h4>Hist\u00f2ria de la llet d&#8217;ametla a Santa Maria<\/h4>\n<p>Santa Maria del Cam\u00ed conserva una interessant tradici\u00f3 sobre aquesta beguda que t\u00e9 l\u2019origen en el convent dels frares M\u00ednims l\u2019any 1682. L\u2019ordre m\u00ednima feiael vot d\u2019abstin\u00e8ncia i eren vegetarians. Per aquest motiu, comen\u00e7aren a produir la llet d\u2019ametlla. Per les festes de Nadal, posaven a disposici\u00f3 del poble de Santa Maria el mol\u00ed, tradici\u00f3 que ha perdurat fins avui, ja que \u00e9s tradicional elaborar-la i consumir-la per aquestes festes.<\/p>\n<h4>Una beguda, senzilla i exquisita<\/h4>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s de moldre les ametles, la llet s\u2019ha de bollir amb sucre, llimona i canyella. L\u2019ametlla de Mallorca, \u00e9s un producte amb Indicaci\u00f3 Geogr\u00e0fica Protegida, i un element fonamental i identificatiu de la gastronomia santamariera, amb una qualitat insuperable. La llet d\u2019ametlla se sol prendre calenta i acompanyada de la t\u00edpica coca de Nadal o de patata.
