{"id":87104,"date":"2024-02-01T09:41:55","date_gmt":"2024-02-01T08:41:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gastronomicament.cat\/europa-acordara-que-lorigen-de-la-mel-ha-destar-clarament-visible-a-letiqueta"},"modified":"2024-02-01T09:41:55","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T08:41:55","slug":"europa-acordara-que-lorigen-de-la-mel-ha-destar-clarament-visible-a-letiqueta","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gastronomicament.cat\/en\/europa-acordara-que-lorigen-de-la-mel-ha-destar-clarament-visible-a-letiqueta","title":{"rendered":"Europa acordar\u00e0 que l&#8217;origen de la mel ha d&#8217;estar clarament visible a l&#8217;etiqueta"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La\u00a0<strong>Uni\u00f3 Europea<\/strong>\u00a0t\u00e9 previst aprovar una normativa per ajudar els consumidors a prendre decisions\u00a0 de manera informada i de forma saludables sobre productes agroalimentaris, com ara la mel, els sucs de fruita, les confitures i les melmelades.<\/p>\n<p>Per aquest motiu, membres de negociaci\u00f3 del Parlament Europeu i del Consell de la Uni\u00f3 Europea varen arribar a un\u00a0<strong>acord pol\u00edtic provisional<\/strong>, aquest dimarts 30 de gener<strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>sobre les normes de la composici\u00f3, el nom, l&#8217;etiquetatge i la presentaci\u00f3 de determinats productes alimentaris de l&#8217;esmorzar.<\/p>\n<p>El motiu \u00e9s que\u00a0<strong>se sospita que una gran part de la mel importada de pa\u00efsos no comunitaris est\u00e0 adulterada amb sucre i no s&#8217;ha detectat al mercat de la Uni\u00f3 Europea (UE)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Per contrarestar aquest frau\u00a0<\/strong>i informar millor els consumidors, els negociadors dels \u00f2rgans europeus varen acordar obligar a<strong>\u00a0indicar clarament en el mateix camp de visi\u00f3 que el nom del producte, els pa\u00efsos d&#8217;on prov\u00e9 la mel,\u00a0<\/strong>en lloc de nom\u00e9s especificar-hi si prov\u00e9 de la UE o no.<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9 s&#8217;hi hauran d&#8217;indicar els percentatges de mel procedents d&#8217;almenys els quatre primers pa\u00efsos d&#8217;origen. Si aquesta mel no representa m\u00e9s de la meitat del total de mel, cal indicar els percentatges per a tots els pa\u00efsos.<\/p>\n<p>Despr\u00e9s dels estudis de viabilitat, i per limitar encara m\u00e9s el frau, la\u00a0<strong>Comissi\u00f3 proposar\u00e0 un codi d&#8217;identificaci\u00f3 \u00fanic o una t\u00e8cnica similar per poder localitzar la mel fins als apicultors<\/strong>. Tamb\u00e9 es va acordar que s&#8217;hauria de crear una plataforma d&#8217;experts de la UE per recopilar dades per millorar els controls, detectar l&#8217;adulteraci\u00f3 de la mel i oferir recomanacions per a un sistema de tra\u00e7abilitat de la UE que permeti rastrejar la mel fins al productor o importador de la collita.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sucs i confitura<br \/>\n<\/strong>Pel que fa als sucs, confitures i melmelades de fruites, la Comissi\u00f3 elaborar\u00e0 un informe per valorar l&#8217;obligatorietat de l&#8217;etiquetatge de l&#8217;estat originari de la fruita utilitzada en un termini de 36 mesos des de l&#8217;entrada en vigor d&#8217;aquesta directiva, acompanyat d&#8217;una proposta legislativa si escau.<\/p>\n<p>Per a les confitures i melmelades, la norma general ser\u00e0 que\u00a0<strong>s&#8217;hauran d&#8217;utilitzar almenys 450 grams de fruita per produir 1 quilo de melmelada<\/strong>\u00a0i melmelades (500 grams per a la confitura extra) d&#8217;alta qualitat.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de la proposta del Parlament, tamb\u00e9 es va acordar que l&#8217;etiqueta &#8220;nom\u00e9s cont\u00e9 sucres naturals&#8221; s&#8217;hauria d&#8217;autoritzar per als sucs de fruites. A m\u00e9s, per satisfer la demanda creixent de productes baixos en sucre, es va acordar que els sucs de fruites reformulats\u00a0<strong>es podran etiquetar com a &#8220;suc de fruites amb sucre redu\u00eft&#8221; si s&#8217;han eliminat almenys el 30% dels sucres naturals<\/strong>. No obstant aix\u00f2, els productors poden no utilitzar edulcorants per compensar l&#8217;efecte de la reducci\u00f3 del sucre sobre el gust, la textura i la qualitat del producte final.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexander Bernhuber<\/strong>, un dels ponents de la UE que ha negociat aquesta directriu,\u00a0va remarcar: &#8220;Avui \u00e9s un bon dia per a un\u00a0<strong>etiquetatge m\u00e9s transparent<\/strong>. Estic especialment content que hem pres mesures per combatre el frau amb la mel. En el futur, les etiquetes frontals hauran d&#8217;indicar clarament els pa\u00efsos d&#8217;origen tamb\u00e9 de les mescles de mel i s&#8217;ha establert la necessitat d&#8217;un sistema de tra\u00e7abilitat de la mel a la UE. Aquestes iniciatives informaran millor als consumidors, i tant els apicultors com els consumidors estaran millor protegits de la mel adulterada&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Properes passes<br \/>\n<\/strong>L&#8217;acord encara ha de ser adoptat pel Parlament i el Consell.
