Aquest cap de setmana passat s&#8217;han instal\u00b7lat les primeres caixes-niu que serviran de refugi per a aus insect\u00edvores a plantacions inscrites al segell de qualitat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Joan Mayol<\/strong>, president de la DO Oli de Mallorca;&nbsp;<strong>Maria G\u00f3mez<\/strong>, directora de projectes de Mallorca Preservation;&nbsp;<strong>Marta Mochales i Elisa Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, representants de SEO\/BirdLife; i&nbsp;<strong>Esteve Alcina<\/strong>, propietari de Son Catiu, n&#8217;han penjat les primeres caixes-niu gr\u00e0cies a la implicaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una vintena de voluntaris i preveuen instal\u00b7lar-ne devers un centenar a m\u00e9s de trenta plantacions d\u2019oliveres inscrites a la DO Oli de Mallorca<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0Amb el desenvolupament del projecte Vida als Olivars, el consell regulador de la DO Oli de Mallorca fa una passa endavant per f<strong>omentar la biodiversitat als olivars\u00a0<\/strong>que formen part del segell de qualitat, una iniciativa dirigida a la millora ambiental i a la protecci\u00f3 de les aus que, a m\u00e9s a m\u00e9s, pot tenir altres efectes positius des del punt de vista agron\u00f2mic, i \u00e9s que els hostes d\u2019aquestes caixes-niu (ocells insect\u00edvors i ratapinyades) poden actuar com a agents auxiliars en el control i prevenci\u00f3 de plagues i determinades malalties contribuint aix\u00ed fer m\u00e9s sostenible el manteniment de les plantacions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Els oliverars
