La celebraci\u00f3 arriba durant l&#8217;any que l&#8217;establiment ha rebut l&#8217;estrella Michelin, un guard\u00f3 que els entesos opinen que fa temps que li hauria d&#8217;haver estat atorgat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Catalina Mayol i Benet Vicens<\/strong>\u00a0el varen decidir obrir aquest restaurant l&#8217;any\u00a0<strong>1971<\/strong>, despr\u00e9s de tancar el bar San Remo, que regentaven al carrer d&#8217;Eusebi Estada de Palma. El matrimoni cercava fer feina a prop d&#8217;on vivien, S\u00f3ller, i per aix\u00f2 aprofitaren un boc\u00ed de terra que tenien en la urbanitzaci\u00f3 hom\u00f2nima, situada devora la mar.<\/p>\n<p>Cal dir que Catalina Mayol va heretar la passi\u00f3 pel sector de la restauraci\u00f3 gr\u00e0cies als seus avis, que varen obrir el restaurant Mayol a la ciutat de Beaune (Fran\u00e7a) on va anar a viure quan tenia devers un any i mig.
