Despr\u00e9s d&#8217;obrir una botiga a Eivissa i un punt de venda a Menorca,\u00a0<strong>acaba d&#8217;anunciar la imminent obertura d&#8217;un centre integral i cultural de caf\u00e8 a Madrid<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Arabay Coffee Roasters \u00e9s l\u00edder estatal en la venda de caf\u00e8 d&#8217;especialitat i es dedica a l&#8217;estudi, selecci\u00f3 i compra dels millors caf\u00e8s de la bot\u00e0nica ar\u00e0biga, per al seu posterior torrat i consum. El centre que s&#8217;inaugura a Madrid ser\u00e0 un dels referents del caf\u00e8 a Europa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>S&#8217;inaugurar\u00e0 oficialment dia 12 de mar\u00e7 i s&#8217;ubicar\u00e0 al carrer\u00a0Marqu\u00e9s Viudo de Pontejos 1<\/strong>, a l&#8217;emblem\u00e0tic edifici de 1841 on l&#8217;escriptor Benito P\u00e9rez Gald\u00f3s va situar la casa de Jacinta i la fam\u00edlia Santa Cruz en la novel\u00b7la\u00a0<em>Fortunata y Jacinta<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>La firma\u00a0<strong>cafetera tamb\u00e9 ha anunciat que est\u00e0 preparant noves obertures a\u00a0en Andorra, It\u00e0lia, Singapur i\u00a0Dubai<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>AraBay Madrid<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Aquest nou local t\u00e9\u00a0<strong>300 metres quadrats<\/strong>\u00a0i ha estat dissenyat per l&#8217;estudi de l&#8217;arquitecte\u00a0<strong>Javier Arango<\/strong>. Est\u00e0 distribu\u00eft en dues plantes amb espais seg\u00fcents:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Coffee Academy<\/strong>, on es formar\u00e0 els\u00a0futurs baristes.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coffee Store<\/strong>, on es podr\u00e0 adquirir caf\u00e8 de m\u00e9s de 20 or\u00edgens del m\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Coffee House<\/strong>, on hi haur\u00e0 la maquin\u00e0ria m\u00e9s moderna per poder oferir l&#8217;<em>espresso<\/em>perfecte, a m\u00e9s d&#8217;una senzilla carta de snacks dol\u00e7os, salats i ensalades.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Origen i nous reptes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arabay Coffee, va n\u00e9ixer l&#8217;any 1952 a Lloret de Vistalegre com a Caf\u00e8s Bah\u00eda i posteriorment com a Caf\u00e8s Bay. Avui dia \u00e9s l\u00edder estatal en la venda de caf\u00e8s d&#8217;especialitat.\u00a0 El seu responsable \u00e9s\u00a0<strong>Toni Vallcaneras<\/strong>, (Lloret de Vistalegre, 1981) qu\u00edmic de formaci\u00f3, qui afirma que \u00abinaugurar aquesta primera botiga a la pen\u00ednsula ib\u00e8rica, a Madrid i davant del teatre Alb\u00e9niz, representa un tercer punt d&#8217;inflexi\u00f3 per a la hist\u00f2ria d&#8217;Arabay. Aix\u00f2 no nom\u00e9s consisteix a vendre caf\u00e8: el nostre projecte tracta de fer arribar al m\u00f3n la nostra manera de beure i entendre l&#8217;univers del caf\u00e8, mentre revisam la nostra empremta a la terra: tant la social com l&#8217;econ\u00f2mica, ecol\u00f2gica i humana\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>De fet, un viatge a Tanz\u00e0nia l&#8217;any 2007 va marcar un abans i un despr\u00e9s en la vida professional de Toni Vallcaneras. Hi va veure el maneig dels cafetars de la zona i, en aquest moment, va decidir implicar-se de ple en el negoci del caf\u00e8 per\u00f2 tamb\u00e9 en la seva part social.
