Per aix\u00f2, les dues denominacions d&#8217;origen de Mallorca han fet balan\u00e7. Tant la\u00a0<strong>DO Pla i Llevant com la DO Binissalem<\/strong>\u00a0coincideixen que ha estat una temporada en qu\u00e8 hi ha hagut un descens en la recol\u00b7lecci\u00f3 de ra\u00efm i tamb\u00e9 remarquen que enguany moltes vinyes han patit de Mildiu, a m\u00e9s dels efectes col\u00b7laterals de la covid-19.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DO Pla i Llevant: Verema 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En aquesta campanya s&#8217;han recol\u00b7lectat un total de 296 hect\u00e0rees, de les quals s&#8217;han produ\u00eft un total de 1.495.715 kg.\u00a0<strong>Un 31% menys respecte a la verema 2019.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Respecte a les xifres pels diferents tipus de ra\u00efm les xifres han estat 618.952 kg de ra\u00efm blanc un 22% menys respecte a l&#8217;any 2019 i 876.763 kg de ra\u00efm negre, 37% menys que l&#8217;any anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Antoni Benn\u00e0ssar, president de la DO Pla i Llevant i bi\u00f2leg, explica que hi ha\u00a0<strong>dos motius que han estat els principals causants d&#8217;aquest descens en producci\u00f3<\/strong>: D&#8217;una banda els<strong>\u00a0factors naturals<\/strong>\u00a0que fan que les produccions agr\u00edcoles vari\u00efn d&#8217;un any a un altre. El factor m\u00e9s important per a la disminuci\u00f3 de la producci\u00f3 ha estat l&#8217;atac del m\u00edldiu. Aquest fong cada any hi \u00e9s present, per\u00f2 enguany el seu atac ha estat especialment virulent, fins i tot ha\u00a0 destru\u00eft moltes vinyes. Normalment nom\u00e9s \u00e9s actiu durant la primavera, per\u00f2 aquesta temporada ha actuat durant pr\u00e0cticament tot el cicle, per aix\u00f2, els han hagut de fer molts tractaments tot i que l&#8217;atac no ha estat igual en totes les vinyes.<\/p>\n<p>Una altra malaltia present durant l&#8217;estiu \u00e9s la cendrada (o\u00efdi), que enguany tampoc no ha faltat a la cita, per\u00f2 amb una intensitat similar a la d&#8217;anys anteriors. La plaga de mosquit verd, especialment activa a finals d&#8217;agost. Ha estat ja l&#8217;\u00faltim factor que no ha ajudat a aquesta anyada. Ataca a les fulles que s&#8217;assequen i cessen en la seva activitat provocant problemes de maduraci\u00f3 al ra\u00efm.<\/p>\n<p>El segon motiu \u00e9s el\u00a0<strong>coronavirus<\/strong>, que ha influ\u00eft de forma indirecta. \u00abQuan va arribar el confinament va cessar de manera dr\u00e0stica la venda de vi. Els cellers en plena campanya d&#8217;embotellament i de venda de l&#8217;anyada 2019 i amb els dip\u00f2sits i botes plens, al costat d&#8217;un gran estoc de vi emmagatzemat i amb la necessitat de tenir espai per a aquesta anyada, es va prendre la decisi\u00f3 de practicar podes i<strong>\u00a0podes en verd m\u00e9s intenses per limitar la producci\u00f3 de vi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Tot i aix\u00f2, Benn\u00e0ssar destaca que els ra\u00efms que s&#8217;han recol\u00b7lectat s\u00f3n d&#8217;una gran qualitat. De fet, \u00ab<strong>existeix una relaci\u00f3 directa entre la baixa producci\u00f3 de les vinyes i la qualitat dels vins<\/strong>. Es pot observar que la producci\u00f3 mitjana autoritzada en el Pla i Llevant \u00e9s de 9000 quilos per hect\u00e0rea i aquest any ha estat escassament de 5000 quilos, cosa que augura una excel\u00b7lent qualitat del ra\u00efm que ha entrat en els cellers, que dona com a resultat una alta qualitat de els vins que s&#8217;elaboren\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DO Binissalem: Verema 2020<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En aquesta campanya s&#8217;han incorporat dos cellers noves a la DO Binissalem,\u00a0<strong>Microceller Soca-Rel<\/strong>\u00a0(Consell) i\u00a0<strong>Santa Catarina Vins de Mallorca\u00a0<\/strong>(Sencelles), de manera que l&#8217;entitat est\u00e0 formada per 11 cellers. La verema va comen\u00e7ar el 6 d&#8217;agost, per la qual cosa es va avan\u00e7ar una setmana respecte al 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Les pluges de maig i juny van provocar, en algunes zones, l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 de focus de m\u00edldiu, un fong que afecta principalment a les fulles per\u00f2 que, en \u00e8poca de floraci\u00f3 i quallat de la flor, pot afectar, de manera important, a ra\u00efm. Tanmateix, aquesta situaci\u00f3 va ser controlat pels viticultors que, atents sempre de el temps, apliquen els tractaments preventius necessaris.<\/p>\n<p>La producci\u00f3 total destinada a elaborar vins de la DO Binissalem <strong>ha estat de 1.065.868 kg, un 26% inferior a la del 2019<\/strong>. El 72% de la producci\u00f3 correspon a varietats negres i el 28% a varietats blanques. Les varietats aut\u00f2ctones, que marquen la singularitat dels vins DO Binissalem, representen un 57% del total de la verema, dada que augmenta un 4% respecte a la campanya anterior.
