Aix\u00ed ho han explicat\u00a0\u00a0Vicen\u00e7 Vidal,\u00a0\u00a0conseller de Medi Ambient, Agricultura i Pesca,\u00a0i Antoni Martorell, el president de la Cooperativa de Porreres, que preveuen recol\u00b7lectar devers 150 tones d&#8217;albercoc.<\/p>\n<p>De fet, a Porreres \u00e9s on el cultiu d&#8217;aquest fruiter t\u00e9 m\u00e9s rellev\u00e0ncia. De fet, ha estat un exportador destacat d&#8217;albercocs secs cap a Europa i, a dia d&#8217;avui, t\u00e9 una superf\u00edcia cultivada d&#8217;albercocquers d&#8217;aproximadament 50 hect\u00e0rees, la meitat de les quals corresponen als membres de la Cooperativa de Porreres.<\/p>\n<p>Cal destacar que hi\u00a0 ha diferents castes d&#8217;albercoc com\u00a0el Roig, el Primerenc, el Modesto, el Roig de Carlet, el Canino, el Galta Roja Valenci\u00e0, el Murt\u00f3 i Galta Vermella, entre altres, que maduren en diferents moments la qual cosa permet escalonar la producci\u00f3 i mantenir-ne la pres\u00e8ncia al mercat durant m\u00e9s temps.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9s per aix\u00f2 que Vidal i Martorell han demanat que els consumidors apostin per menjar albercocs mallorquins, ja que s\u00f3n frescos i de qualitat, i es mantenen cultivats els camps de Mallorca.<\/p>\n<p>La Cooperativa de Porrers comercialitza la producci\u00f3 dels socis de dues maneres: a trav\u00e9s dels majoristes de Mercapalma i a trav\u00e9s de la venda directa a la pr\u00f2pia botiga. De tota manera, una petita part de la producci\u00f3 es dedica a l\u2019elaboraci\u00f3 de productes transformats o a nous productes derivats de l\u2019albercoc, que permetin aconseguir un valor afegit o arribar a m\u00e9s consumidors. Aix\u00ed doncs, el producte arriba a transformar-se en confitures de diferents tipus i formats, elaborades espec\u00edficament per a rebosteria, per a consum normal i ecol\u00f2giques. A m\u00e9s, tamb\u00e9 hi ha la producci\u00f3 d\u2019albercoc sec, que mant\u00e9 viu un dels productes m\u00e9s caracter\u00edstics i tradicionals de Porreres o fins i tot un producte m\u00e9s refinat com pot ser el licor d\u2019albercocs.<\/p>\n<p>Com a fita de futur, la Cooperativa de Porreres est\u00e0 treballant en el projecte Nous Albercoquers, amb l&#8217;objectiu de plantar noves varietats i estendre el conreu ecol\u00f2gic per millorar la rendibilitat de les plantacions. A m\u00e9s, la cooperativa tamb\u00e9 participa en el projecte Farmers &amp; Co, amb la finalitat d\u2019arribar a nous sectors i difondre un producte d\u2019alta qualitat.
