Aix\u00ed ho afirma l&#8217;estudi EpiGEICAM, coordinat per la investigadora del Centre Nacional d&#8217;Epidemiologia de l&#8217;Institut de Salut Carlos III, Marina Poll\u00e1n, finan\u00e7at per l&#8217;Associaci\u00f3 Espanyola Contra el C\u00e0ncer (AECC) i desenvolupat dins del Grup Espanyol d&#8217;Investigaci\u00f3 en C\u00e0ncer de Mama (GEICAM).<\/p>\n<p>Aquest projecte de recerca analitza la relaci\u00f3 entre la dieta i el desenvolupament de c\u00e0ncer de mama a partir d&#8217;un total de 1.017 casos i 1.017 controls que han estat analitzats per investigadors de GEICAM en els serveis d&#8217;Oncologia de 23 centres hospitalaris de l&#8217;Estat Espa\u00f1ol. Els investigadors van identificar a la poblaci\u00f3 control 3 tipus de dieta:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Dieta occidental<\/strong>: Alt consum de productes grassos, carn processada, dol\u00e7os, begudes cal\u00f2riques i baix consum de cereals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dieta prudent<\/strong>: Productes baixos en greix, fruites, vegetals i sucs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dieta mediterr\u00e0nia<\/strong>: Peix, vegetals, llegums, patates, fruites, oli i baix consum de sucs i begudes cal\u00f2riques.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>L&#8217;estudi d&#8217;investigaci\u00f3 publicat al <em>British Journal of C\u00e0ncer<\/em> (BJC) conclou que el consum d&#8217;aliments de la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia\u00a0pot reduir el risc de desenvolupar c\u00e0ncer de mama fins a un 30% mentre que\u00a0la dieta occidental \u00e9s la m\u00e9s perjudicial per desenvolupar c\u00e0ncer de mama i, el que \u00e9s m\u00e9s preocupant, \u00e9s la dieta m\u00e9s freq\u00fcent en les dones\u00a0joves.<\/p>\n<p>D&#8217;altra banda, no s&#8217;ha pogut constatar que la dieta prudent estigui relacionada ni amb m\u00e9s ni amb una menor probabilitat de desenvolupar c\u00e0ncer de mama, com es pot pensar ja que \u00e9s la que t\u00e9 menys greix.<\/p>\n<p>Estudis previs havien analitzat l&#8217;efecte de productes concrets (fruita, verdura,\u00a0vitamina C) sobre el c\u00e0ncer, que havien mostrat un subtil efecte protector. Ara, l&#8217;estudi de l&#8217;equip dirigit per la doctora Poll\u00e1n demostra que la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia \u00e9s beneficiosa per prevenir el c\u00e0ncer de mama, especialment per tumors triple-negatius, per als que de moment no existeix un tractament. \u00c9s la primera vegada que un estudi que relaciona dieta i c\u00e0ncer de mostra un clar efecte protector de la dieta mediterr\u00e0nia en aquest subtipus de tumor, el triple negatiu, que generalment \u00e9s m\u00e9s agressiu.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>LA INVESTIGACI\u00d3 DEMOSTRA QUE UNA DIETA AMB ABUNDANTS VERDURES, FRUITA, OLI D&#8217;OLIVA, PEIX I LLEGUM AJUDA A DISMINUIR LA FREQ\u00dc\u00c8NCIA DE C\u00c0NCER DE MAMA<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Segons la investigadora Marina Poll\u00e1n, \u00abels nostres resultats afegeixen m\u00e9s evid\u00e8ncia a favor de fomentar una dieta rica en<br \/>\nverdures, fruita, oli d&#8217;oliva, peix i llegums, i limitar el consum d&#8217;alcohol, productes greixosos, carn, embotits, dol\u00e7os i begudes ensucrades. Aquesta forma de menjar que anomenem dieta mediterr\u00e0nia pot ajudar a disminuir la freq\u00fc\u00e8ncia de c\u00e0ncer de mama i tamb\u00e9 d&#8217;altres malalties cr\u00f2niques, com els problemes cardiovasculars o la diabetis\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p><strong>El c\u00e0ncer i l&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3<\/strong><br \/>\nL&#8217;AECC va fer el 2010 un estudi a trav\u00e9s de l&#8217;Observatori del C\u00e0ncer, en el qual s&#8217;analitzaven els h\u00e0bits d&#8217;alimentaci\u00f3 dels espanyols, la percepci\u00f3 de l&#8217;associaci\u00f3 entre alimentaci\u00f3 i salut i el coneixement sobre els aliments i begudes que es considera que poden actuar com a promotors o preventius de c\u00e0ncer. Entre les conclusions cal destacar que el 57% de la poblaci\u00f3 no consumeix di\u00e0riament fruita i verdura; que el 58% inclou en la seva dieta brioixeria, carns grasses i embotits de dues a tres vegades a la setmana; que dos de cada deu enquestats prenen vi o cervesa un cop al dia i que el 75% de la poblaci\u00f3 no fa activitat f\u00edsica regularment.<\/p>\n<p>Els experts en nutrici\u00f3 han confirmat que l&#8217;alcohol, els greixos, carns vermelles, pastisseria industrial i aliments cremats es ratifiquen com a promotors de c\u00e0ncer; mentre que positivament, un consum diari de fruita, verdura i hortalissa pot prevenir l&#8217;aparici\u00f3 de la malaltia.<\/p>\n<p>La presentaci\u00f3 de l&#8217;estudi inclou unes recomanacions clares en la prevenci\u00f3 del c\u00e0ncer, entre les quals hi ha la de fer activitat f\u00edsica de manera regular, no fumar, evitar l&#8217;alcohol i mantenir una alimentaci\u00f3 rica en fruites, hortalisses i productes integrals.<\/p>\n<pre>Foto: atl10trader -
