La decisi\u00f3 ha estat molt criticada per lleteries, pagesos i el Govern de les Illes Balears, com mostra la piulada de la presidenta balear Marga Prohens: \u00abPel que fa el Grup Damm, resulta intolerable l\u2019engany a l\u2019administraci\u00f3, i ara tamb\u00e9 als ramaders.\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote twitter-tweet is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>Des del Govern de les Illes Balears, a trav\u00e9s d\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AgriculturaGOIB?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@AgriculturaGOIB<\/a>, hem fet feina els darrers mesos per trobar solucions alternatives per tal de donar continu\u00eftat a la planta lletera d\u2019Agama, amb voluntat fins i tot de posar-hi recursos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalment, els ramaders implicats han\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mRCrXd8ygB\">https:\/\/t.co\/mRCrXd8ygB<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2014 Marga Prohens (@MargaProhens) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MargaProhens\/status\/2029207297709240773?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 4, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><script async=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La situaci\u00f3 \u00e9s tema de portades de diaris i, tamb\u00e9, de converses entre ve\u00efnats perqu\u00e8 AGAMA no sols \u00e9s una central lletera, \u00e9s un s\u00edmbol per als mallorquins que els lliga al sector primari d&#8217;una manera molt directa: a trav\u00e9s de la llet i del batut Laccao. Sobre aquest batut de cacau, l&#8217;empresa ha manifestat que vol quedar-se amb la marca i elaborar-lo fora de l&#8217;illa, el que ha generat m\u00e9s indignaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El malestar amb Damm \u00e9s gros perqu\u00e8 s&#8217;havia comprom\u00e8s a mantenir la central i a comprar llet a les tres granges que els subministraven llet. L&#8217;estrat\u00e8gia de Damm per acabar amb el sector lleter de Mallorca, per\u00f2, ve d&#8217;enrere perqu\u00e8 a poc a poc va reduir les granges que li venien llet, de 7 a nom\u00e9s 3, amb l&#8217;excusa que no hi havia tant de consum. Mestrentant, paulatinament, ha introdu\u00eft la seva pr\u00f2pia marca al mercat de Mallorca, Letona, que s&#8217;ha trobat a supermercats i hipermercats, a m\u00e9s de bars i cafeteries que tenen la cervesa Estrella Damm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Subvenci\u00f3 atorgada a Damm per a AGAMA<br>Com explica Ara Balears, Damm va sol\u2022licitar un ajut l&#8217;any 2018 que va rebre l&#8217;any 2024 per ampliar la gamma de productes elaborats. L&#8217;obtenci\u00f3 est\u00e0 lligada a mantenir l&#8217;activitat com a m\u00ednim 5 anys, fet que no complir\u00e0 i que, per tant, haur\u00e0 de tornar devers un mili\u00f3 d&#8217;euros al Govern de les Illes Balears i a les institucions europees, d&#8217;on prov\u00e9 l&#8217;ajut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Explicacions del Govern de les Illes Balears<br>Des del Govern de les Illes Balears han explicat que presentaren a Damm i als ramaders un projecte per mantenir viva AGAMA. Aquest projecte preveia la creaci\u00f3 d&#8217;una empresa publicoprivada estructurada en tres pilars: una participaci\u00f3 del 25% per part del Govern; un 50% aportat per un inversor privat; i el 25% restant corresponent als treballadors i als ramaders que subministraven llet al Grup Damm. Aquest esquema havia de permetre donar continu\u00eftat a la ind\u00fastria, refor\u00e7ar la cadena de valor i millorar la viabilitat de les explotacions lleteres vinculades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No obstant aix\u00f2, els tres ramaders que subministraven llet al Grup Damm han decidit finalment no adherir-se a aquesta proposta i optar per explorar altres alternatives per al futur de les seves explotacions. At\u00e8s que la participaci\u00f3 del sector productor era essencial per al projecte, la manca d&#8217;acord feia inviable continuar amb les negociacions en els termes plantejats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rebuig c\u00edvic a la maniobra de Damm<br>Hi ha entitats c\u00edviques que tamb\u00e9 han mostrat el seu disgust amb la posici\u00f3 del grup Damm. Per exemple, Joves de Mallorca per la Llengua, una entitat creada al 1994 i amb una mobilitzaci\u00f3 juvenil important, rebutja el suport d\u2019Estrella Damm a l\u2019Acampallengua, una entitat que reuneix centenars de joves mallorquins, pel tancament d&#8217;AGAMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Falta veure de quina manera el Govern de les Illes Balears acabar\u00e0 de defensar els interessos dels ramaders i
